A Golden Age of Decorative Art 1848 - 1914

 

Founded by Didier Luttenbacher in 1988, Atelier DL sets about rediscovering the extraordinary creativity within the Decorative Arts between 1848 and 1914 through engagement with the great aesthetic movements of Eclecticisme, Historicisme, Japonisme and Orientalisme.

Our research and work focuses on bronze, enamel, ceramic, glass and wood works of the day, in particular those conceived, designed and manufactured by the following artists and houses such as Ferdinand Barbedienne, Joseph Brocard, Maison Christofle, Eugène Cornu, Honoré Dufin, Philippe Imberton,Edouard Lièvre, Charles Matifat, Eugène Rousseau, Alfred Serre, Constant Sévin, Gabriel Viardot, Samson Wertheimer...
